The Korean Republic Consulate General of Istanbul and Istanbul Korean Tourism Office organized a Korean Cuisine Competition Final Session on the 9th November 2013 in Taksim Gaya Restaurant.

15 competitors reached the final after the preselection among 60 competitor and receipt.Among the jury were: Korean Isatnbul Tourism Office Head – Gaya Restaurant Chief- the producer and presenter Cem Arslan of the ‘Gazoz Ağacı’ programme published in Best FM, writer Selma Şen of the magazine ‘Sofra’, Vocational School Cookery programme Curator Instructor Esat Özata.

The competition processed with a 3 session part and within 5-person group; our 1st class student Yakupcan Gundogdu in the department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts won the competition with his ‘Gapçe’ food (with potato pasta, vegetables and meat).
